What are your family Christmas traditions? - ParentDish - UK
So now it's just a month to go until Christmas day, and preparations are underway is definitely getting better. A very good things about this time of year is how you can create your own family traditions when you're a parent.
So maybe you take something that you or your partner did as a child, and add some new ones of your own, create your own family traditions for Christmas single.Because the things we do every year, and only at this time of year is what tends to remain in our memories - much more than individual donations.
These are the traditions of my family, what are yours?
Our traditions are:
- Peel the vegetables the night before in a large bucket of sherry, while drinking water and eating pies.
- Make sausage rolls and then eat them hot from the oven before the Christmas lunch (as if you need more food on Christmas Day!)
- Take the dog for a walk really long.I feel a little sad about the years when I'm with people who do not go Christmas Day walks.
- My father used to make a big fuss about standing up to salute for the Queen's Speech. He thought it was hilarious. I suppose we! It certainly lacks roll our eyes at him.
- Make bread sauce and stuffing appropriate in about 3 different flavors.
- Frying potatoes leftovers (we do not aim too) with onions for eating meat cold the next day. I think our Boxing Day dinner in May better than Christmas dinner!

Love donations comedy idea!
So, our Christmas Day usually involves:
- Breakfast cooked and a glass of Bucks Fizz or two.
- Opening of half of this by the tree. We pillowcases instead of storage though. Classy like that.
- Everyone involved in preparing the Christmas meal....
