WELLS — On Saturday, Nov. 14, community members can learn a new skill and create a handmade gift. These classes are a great stressless holiday activity. Choose one workshop or stay for the whole day. All of the classes are at Wells High School.
Using basic sewing skills, create personalized stockings to share with family and friends in the fabric Christmas stocking workshop. These stockings can be made fast and easy or if your time and skills permit, you can embellish and embroider for more detail. Beginners to advanced sewers are welcome. Class meets from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Create your own picture frames to compliment your photos or artwork in the custom picture frame workshop. Children age 8 to 18 are welcome to attend with an adult. Using foam boards, decorate and make several frames. Class meets from 9 a.m. to noon.
Make a thick, full kissing ball of locally grown balsam and pine decorated with red ribbons at the kissing ball workshop. Children age 10 to 18 are welcome to register with an adult. Class meets from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
