On the mend | Madame Purl
by Madame Purl
So I just wanted to post a quick update for you all know I'm on the mend. Last Tuesday, I had sinus surgery works, including fixing deviated septum and have been spending my time hanging around the house in a Vicodin - Haze induced convalescence. Yesterday I could get my package Out. I'm getting better slowly, but it will take time.

Today I wanted to make a stop. I'm headed with Mike and faygo over to the vet.Poor kitty faygo had an ulcer on his eye that we have tried to heal. Well good news is that the eye seems to be healing well. So we met the new veterinary clinic. I know this may sound silly, but we spend much time at the vet and I wanted to make sure everything is changing in a positive direction. We've known for sometime that our vet has been terribly overworked as the only veterinary practice. We thought from the beginning a new addition is a good idea.
Nevertheless, it is out of school a year or two and very dynamic. I think it will be a good fit.Mike and I really liked her and faygo responded positively. We were lucky because it was a slow day and we had to visit for a bit and go through his history with it. Our vet regularly erupted in late mainly to ensure we met and see how I felt as he heard about my surgery.

They had a picture of her with her three dogs on the counter and one veterinary technician told us her little Chihuahua long hair has been filed with a beak exposure of the bone by the practice where she worked previously. The owner has just left her, so the doc sent her up and took her home. A lady of my own heart.
So, in my fog, I made a sweater. Remember what a tea cozy Issue 2008 holiday simple sweater? Up to 13 additional folds pins go. I'm not crazy about the big pom-pom on top, but I thought some flowers knit or crochet or something could work instead. Also, if you watched my knitting Rav queue at all, my knitting mojo seems to come back with a vengeance.I try not to order the KnitPicks Harmony needles now that they are selling - oh with this cute kit farmed blue. I know someone who would like a Christmas stocking knitted by hand. Of course, it would need a piece of Grumpy for the interior....
